There is a huge lightning/rain/thunderstorm happening right now, and my roommate is asleep, but she talks in her sleep really often.
(Huge thunder crash)
Roommate: JEEEEEESUS.
Me: Yeah, I was wondering how you were sleeping through this.
Roommate: I'm not sleeping, I'm (incomprehensible)
(this is when I figure out she's still asleep, and begin giggling)
(more thunder)
Roommate: We're going to die.
Me: We're not going to die. I promise.
Roommate: No, I read it in a book.
Me: Oh?
Roommate: Yeah, there were two of every animal.
Me: (giggles)
Roommate: I think that's what's happening now.
And then I tried not to really wake her up by laughing.

Sometimes I wonder if it would just be better for me to not be in a super duper serious committed relationship… Makes having crushes on other people so extremely difficult, plus it’s even less likely that anything will come out of those crushes. :(
